Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about classes, ages, enrollment, and special programs at Studio 48.

Every age. Studio 48 has students from preschoolers through adults — including parents who decided to finally take that violin lesson they were dreaming about. We meet every student where they are.
Yes. We believe performance arts thrive when students focus on growth, expression, and craft instead of beating each other to the trophy. Students still perform — recitals, productions, showcases — but the framework is built around mastery and joy, not ranking.
Yes. Director Rebecca Beck has specialized in working with students on the autism spectrum and with behavioral and learning differences for years. The Freedom Arts Program is designed around adapted instruction — sensory-aware lessons, individualized pacing, and full participation in the arts community.
Call us at 207-319-5148 or email office@studio48pac.com to set up a meet-and-greet. We walk through what your student is interested in, recommend a program and instructor, and get you on the schedule. Most students start with a trial lesson to make sure the fit is right.
20 Davis Street, Brunswick, Maine 04011 — we've been at this location since 2001. The studio is centrally located in downtown Brunswick with easy parking.
Yes — our Summer Program runs through the summer months and is a great way for new students to try a class with no school-year commitment, or for returning students to dive deeper into music, dance, theatre, or musical theatre.
